Alexander Whittaker has been named Antigua and Barbuda's 2026 National Road Race Champion after Sunday's Top Ranking Ltd Individual Road Race. According to Antigua News Room, Whittaker secured the national title as the highest-finishing Antiguan and Barbudan rider in the competition.
Grenada's Abbiel Fleming took overall race honours, crossing the finish line in a time of 2:37:51. However, the national championship was determined by the top-placed local competitor, a distinction Whittaker earned on the day.
National titles were also awarded across several other divisions. Jason Adams claimed the Masters A championship, while Vaughn Gomes took top honours in the Masters B category. Tiger Tyson emerged victorious in the Sports Class division.
In the junior categories, Elite Thomas was crowned Juvenile champion and D'Jani Richards captured the Cadets title.
Organizers recognized competitors across all divisions for their performances throughout the event, which featured national championship honours in multiple categories.
