Antigua and Barbuda is set to welcome the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League back to the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium from August 20 to 25, 2026, according to Antigua News Room. Billed as 'The Biggest Party' in sport, the six-day event promises a blend of high-intensity cricket, carnival atmosphere, and Caribbean culture at what organisers proudly call the 'Home of Party Cricket.'

The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will play four home matches during the tournament, facing the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Trinbago Knight Riders, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Barbados Tridents. All matches are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. local time.

Charmaine Spencer, Chief Marketing Officer for the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, underscored the strategic value of the event. "Sports tourism continues to be an important component of Antigua and Barbuda's tourism strategy to diversify visitor experiences, extend visitor stays, encourage group travel, and strengthen year-round tourism demand," Spencer said. "Events such as CPL also provide us with the opportunity to showcase our hospitality, beauty, and culture as we invite visitors to explore all the destination has to offer beyond the cricket."

Sabrina Webster, Brand and Marketing Communications Manager for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, highlighted the team's 2026 campaign theme. "Our 2026 campaign, 'Come for the Fete, Stay for the Match', invites fans to experience the very best of Antigua and Barbuda through the energy and excitement of CPL," Webster said. "From the lively Party Stand and the relaxed Grass Mound to the elevated Premium Hospitality suites, each Falcons home match is designed to offer something special for every fan."

"This is what makes Antigua and Barbuda the Home of Party Cricket. We invite fans to come for the fete, stay for the match, and leave with memories that will bring them back again and again," Webster added.

Organisers are encouraging CPL visitors to extend their stay and explore the island beyond the stadium. Antigua and Barbuda offers award-winning beaches, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nelson's Dockyard, local cuisine, island adventures, and a range of cultural experiences — positioning the destination as an ideal pairing of world-class cricket and a Caribbean vacation.

The event is being marketed to a broad audience, including cricket enthusiasts, diaspora travellers, vacationers, and first-time visitors.

Tickets for CPL 2026 matches in Antigua and Barbuda are available through the official CPL website, the official ticketing platform, RUBIS Service Stations, and the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
