The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) has marked a significant milestone in its efforts to bolster healthcare leadership with the launch of its inaugural comprehensive Leadership Development Program. According to Antigua Observer, the six-month initiative was developed by Lyandra Richards, Head of the Learning & Development Unit, and is being led by the Learning & Development Unit within the hospital's Human Resources Department.

The program represents a formal commitment by SLBMC to invest in the professional growth of its staff, equipping healthcare personnel with the leadership skills necessary to meet the evolving demands of the medical sector in Antigua and Barbuda.
