The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) has opened a call for artists and creatives to participate in the fourth edition of Antigua and Barbuda Art Week, scheduled to run November 11–18, 2026. According to Antigua News Room, the invitation marks the official start of planning for the destination-wide celebration of visual arts, culture and creativity.
Maria Blackman, Marketing Communications Manager at the ABTA, underscored the event's growing significance. "Antigua and Barbuda Art Week has become an important platform for showcasing the incredible talent within our destination while deepening the connection between art, culture and tourism," she said. "We invite artists and creatives from across Antigua and Barbuda to join us as we continue to grow Art Week into an unforgettable celebration of creativity that reflects the essence of our twin-island paradise."
Visual artists working across a broad range of disciplines are encouraged to register their interest in exhibiting. The ABTA is welcoming expressions of interest from both emerging and established artists working in painting, photography, mixed media, textile art, digital art and other visual art forms.
Beyond individual exhibitors, the Authority is also seeking expressions of interest from artists, creatives, organisations and venues wishing to host official satellite events as part of the 2026 programme. These may include workshops, open studios, performances, fashion shows and other creative experiences.
Interested participants can register online or by contacting the ABTA directly at 1 268 562-7600. All submissions must be received on or before July 30, 2026. Registered artists and participants will subsequently receive details on exhibition requirements, artwork submission timelines and Art Week experience guidelines.
The full Antigua and Barbuda Art Week 2026 programme will be announced in the coming months.
Antigua and Barbuda Art Week is an initiative of the ABTA, designed to promote the destination's creative economy and expand cultural tourism through immersive and accessible art and culture experiences.
