Antigua and Barbuda will serve as the Caribbean gateway for Aman at Sea's inaugural luxury yacht, Amangati, when the vessel arrives in St. John's to launch its first Caribbean season in November 2027.
According to Antigua News Room, the ultra-luxury hospitality brand has opened reservations for a series of five- to eight-night voyages scheduled between November 21, 2027, and January 2, 2028. Antigua was selected as the yacht's first Caribbean port of call following a 13-night Atlantic crossing from Spain.
The season opens in St. John's, with guests embarking on itineraries spanning the Leeward Islands, Windward Islands and Dutch Caribbean. Planned stops include a dedicated marina day in Barbuda, as well as visits to St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Barthélemy, the British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten, Saba, Montserrat and Anguilla.
Several Windward Islands voyages will also depart directly from St. John's, further cementing Antigua's role as a homeport for Amangati throughout its Caribbean operations.
Prior to its arrival in Antigua, the vessel will complete its inaugural Mediterranean season with a transatlantic crossing departing from Malaga, Spain. The 13-night voyage includes scheduled stops in Cadiz and the Azores before making landfall in St. John's.
Amangati is a 47-suite yacht offering oceanfront accommodations with private terraces, four restaurants, a spa, wellness facilities and a marina platform equipped for water sports. Aman has stated that its Caribbean itineraries will prioritise overnight stays, late departures and curated cultural, culinary and nature-based experiences for guests.
The inaugural Caribbean season is set to conclude with a New Year's celebration in Nevis, after which the yacht will continue its regional operations.
