ClicCash, Antigua and Barbuda's first homegrown fintech company, represented the twin-island nation on an international stage this week during London Tech Week, according to Antigua Observer.
Founder Brandon Derrick led the charge, presenting before the Government of Québec's UK delegation and participating in a roundtable discussion at the Canadian High Commission. The engagements signal a deliberate effort to build bridges between Antigua and Barbuda's emerging tech sector and key Canadian institutions.
Derrick also attended a charity gala held in support of the Governor-General's Halo Foundation, where he met with Antigua and Barbuda's Governor-General and High Commissioner, as reported by Antigua Observer.
The appearances position ClicCash as a standard-bearer for local innovation on the global stage, demonstrating that entrepreneurial ambition from the small island nation can compete and connect at the highest levels of international business and technology.
