Public sector stakeholders in Antigua and Barbuda are being invited to participate in consultations on proposed revisions to the CARICOM Regional Quality Policy (RQP).

The Ministry of Trade and Investment announced that the Caribbean Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) is hosting the consultations under a United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ACP project.

The exercise aims to present proposed changes to the regional policy, gather stakeholder feedback on the draft document, and validate strategic priorities identified through research.

The public sector consultation is scheduled for June 18, running from 10 a.m. to noon. A separate session for private sector stakeholders will follow on June 19.

The revised policy is expected to strengthen the regional quality infrastructure framework and support improvements in standards, conformity assessment, and competitiveness across CARICOM member states.
