The Antigua and Barbuda Investment Authority (ABIA) has issued an urgent public warning regarding fraudulent activity involving the unauthorised use of its name, logo, and brand identity.

According to Antigua Observer, the ABIA has identified individuals impersonating the Authority on Facebook and potentially other social media platforms. These impostors are promoting fake investment opportunities and soliciting funds from unsuspecting members of the public.

The Authority is urging residents and investors to exercise extreme caution and to verify the legitimacy of any investment-related communications that claim to originate from the ABIA before engaging or transferring any funds.
