The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) has successfully completed a four-day Music Development Masterclass designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and professional capacity of individuals working within the nation's music and entertainment industry. According to Antigua.news, the programme brought together a diverse group of emerging and established creatives for an intensive learning experience focused on practical tools for navigating the modern music business.

The masterclass ran from June 8 to 13 and covered key areas including music publishing, branding, artist development, business management, industry best practices, and strategies for building sustainable careers in the creative sector.

Participants received direct mentorship and hands-on training from internationally respected Caribbean music industry professionals, among them Stephen Phillip of DSM Music Group, Daryll Gervais of Gervais Music, and Titan VCD of NXUS Collective Agency.

Throughout the programme, attendees engaged in interactive discussions, industry-focused workshops, and networking sessions that offered insight into the evolving global music landscape. Facilitators drew on real-world experience to guide artists, producers, songwriters, and other creative professionals on how to position themselves for long-term success.

At the closing ceremony, participants received certificates of completion in recognition of their commitment to advancing their professional development within the creative industries.
