The Police cricket team has been crowned champions of the ACB Caribbean Parish League Sir Curtly Ambrose Limited Overs competition after defeating the Liberta Blackhawks by 37 runs in the Final contested last weekend.

According to Antigua Observer, Police batted first and posted a competitive total of 163 for eight. Kenrick Scott led the innings with a contribution of 44 runs, while Deran Benta added a solid 40 to anchor the Police total.

Elvis Weaver also featured among the contributors, as Police set a target the Liberta Blackhawks ultimately could not chase down, falling 37 runs short at the close of play.
