Antiguan soca artist Claudette "CP" Peters has been announced as the headline performer for MFUK 26 "Rising from the Ashes," a major cultural celebration scheduled for July 18 in London. According to Antigua News Room, the event will spotlight the 10-time Soca Monarch Queen as part of a broader tribute to Montserratian culture, music, and community.

Peters holds a distinguished place in Caribbean carnival history as the first female artist to win Antigua and Barbuda's Road March title. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has built a strong regional following through songs including Something Got A Hold On Me, All I Know, Go Claudette Go, and Diva.

Event organizers described Peters as one of the Caribbean's most accomplished entertainers, citing her lasting influence on carnival music and her commitment to supporting emerging artists across the region.

The London-based celebration is expected to draw members of the Montserratian diaspora alongside supporters from across the wider Caribbean community. Organizers said Peters' performance will anchor a programme centred on themes of heritage, resilience, and unity.

The event is being promoted as one of the flagship highlights of this year's Montserrat Festival UK activities.
