Young Warriors Football Club has announced that the third staging of the Antigua Cup International Youth Tournament will take place from July 5 to 12, 2026, at the Buckley's Primary School Playing Field in Buckley's Village.

According to Antigua News Room, the tournament continues to draw both local and overseas clubs and has been dubbed summer's most exciting soccer event. With 35 days remaining before kick-off, several teams have already confirmed participation across five age categories: U9, U11, U13, U15, and U17.

Organisers have also made a proactive push to recruit teams for the Girls' division, which will feature competition in the U11, U15, and U19 age categories. Registration for both the Boys' and Girls' divisions remains open until June 15.

"We are looking forward to another week-long of exciting football and exposure of talent," Young Warriors said in a release.

Trophies will be awarded to the champions, runners-up, and third-placed teams in each age group across both divisions. Individual honours will also be presented, recognising the top goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and goal scorer in every age category.

With the FIFA World Cup set to kick off soon, organisers say excitement is already building among young footballers across Antigua and the wider region ahead of the tournament.
