A local human resources professional is calling on employers across Antigua and Barbuda to modernise their workplace cultures — or risk losing their youngest and most motivated workers to burnout and disengagement.

According to Antigua Observer, Rhonda Grant, Vice President of the HR Professionals of Antigua and Barbuda, issued the warning as the generation now filling entry-level positions across the country continues to reshape expectations in the workplace. Grant noted that these young workers have closely observed their parents sacrifice personal well-being in service of their careers — and they are determined not to repeat that pattern.
