Antiguan bodybuilder Jon Ferris has secured an International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) Pro Card following a dominant performance at the Roger Boyce Barbados Classic and World Cup held in Barbados over the weekend.
According to Antigua Observer, Ferris competed in the Senior Men's Physique category and finished first overall, a result that earned him the coveted professional designation from the IFBB.
The achievement marks a significant milestone in Ferris's athletic career, as an IFBB Pro Card is widely regarded as one of the highest distinctions a competitive bodybuilder or physique athlete can attain. The card grants recipients the right to compete at the professional level in IFBB-sanctioned events around the world.
Ferris's victory at the Roger Boyce Barbados Classic and World Cup — an internationally recognised competition — further underscores the growing profile of Antigua and Barbuda on the regional and global fitness and bodybuilding stage.
