Antiguan golfer Marquis George has claimed first place in the 16–18 age category at the Caribbean Optimist Golf Championship, held in Barbados, earning widespread praise from his school and supporters across the country.

According to Antigua News Room, George represented Antigua and Barbuda at the regional tournament, securing the top spot against competitors from across the Caribbean.

Clare Hall Secondary School, in a congratulatory message, described the achievement as a display of "remarkable skill, discipline, and sportsmanship on the international stage."
