Restaurant Week and Culinary Month will be staged as two distinct events this year, marking a departure from their traditional combined format, according to Antigua Observer.
Shermain Jeremy, Special Projects and Events Manager at the Antigua and Barbuda Hotel and Tourism Authority (ABHTA), said the decision was driven by feedback received from partners and patrons.
"Usually, we combine them. But this year, we've decided, you know what, let's —" Jeremy said, as reported by Antigua Observer.
The move signals a new approach by the ABHTA to how the twin celebrations of local cuisine and hospitality are presented to both residents and visitors during Culinary Month.
