LIAT Air has launched its inaugural direct service between Antigua and Guadeloupe, marking a new milestone in regional Caribbean connectivity. According to Antigua News Room, the first flight departed Antigua at 8 a.m. on Friday, with the route set to operate twice weekly.
The airline described the launch as "an exciting new chapter for Caribbean connectivity," positioning the new route as a boost for business travel, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two islands.
"Passengers can now enjoy direct flights between Antigua and Guadeloupe two times a week, opening the door for seamless business travel, weekend escapes, cultural exchange, and unforgettable Caribbean adventures," LIAT Air said in a statement shared on social media.
The airline added that the new Antigua-Guadeloupe service forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen inter-island links and expand travel and tourism opportunities across the region.
LIAT Air also extended thanks to passengers, partners, and supporters for their backing of the carrier's continued regional expansion.
