Team Antigua and Barbuda have departed for St Lucia to compete in the 2026 Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Beach Volleyball Championships, scheduled to run from May 1 to 3.
According to Antigua News Room, the national squad left on Thursday morning as they prepare to face some of the region's top beach volleyball teams in the annual tournament.
Volleyball Antigua and Barbuda issued a statement wishing the athletes well, expressing pride in their selection and calling on them to compete with determination and national pride. The organisation noted that the wider volleyball community stands firmly behind the team.
The athletes will be aiming to deliver strong performances as they represent Antigua and Barbuda at the regional level competition in St Lucia.
