The management of Anchor Concierge Super Yacht Services Ltd. has called for a formal retraction and public apology from Hon. E. P. Chet Greene following statements made during a recent radio broadcast, according to Antigua News Room.
During the broadcast, Greene allegedly insinuated that Nicholas Line, Principal of Anchor Concierge Super Yacht Services Limited, is a supporter of an independent candidate in the general elections scheduled for 30th April 2026. The broadcast further implied that Line was connected to a "White Power" movement, which was characterised as the driving force behind support for the said independent candidate.
Anchor Concierge has flatly rejected both claims as factually incorrect. The company warned that the statements carry the potential to create confusion among its international and local clientele, as well as its broader network of industry partners.
As reported by Antigua News Room, the company emphasised that integrity and clarity are central to Line's standing as a business leader in Antigua's maritime community. Management stated that it is essential to ensure his political convictions are not misrepresented in any public forum.
The company has formally requested that Minister Greene retract the misstatement and deliver a public apology, citing the potential harm the claims could cause to Line's professional reputation and to the standing of the business itself.
Anchor Concierge closed its statement by thanking clients and the public for their continued support and trust as the country moves toward the 30th April polls.
