ST. JOHN'S, Antigua — The Hurricane Power Athletics Club has announced record registration numbers for its 5th Annual 10K/5K Run & Walk and 2K Kids Competition, according to Antigua News Room. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 26 April 2026, with a 6:30 a.m. start from the YASCO Grounds.
The race route will take participants up Old Parham Road, right onto Sir Sibley Wallen Highway, left onto Factory Road, and back via the same route, finishing at the YASCO Grounds.
Registration fees are tiered by age. Participants aged 16 and over will pay $30, while those under 16 are charged $20. Children aged 12 and under may register for $15.
Awards will be presented to overall winners across multiple age groups. Special prizes are also on offer for the largest group entry, as well as top finishers among club, school, and business categories.
The club is welcoming a broad range of participants, including professional and recreational distance runners, hiking and sporting clubs, schools, businesses, fitness enthusiasts, families, and walkers.
