An Antigua and Barbuda human resources professional has been selected to facilitate a key session at LOUD26, the Caribbean's premier gathering of HR professionals, business leaders, and decision-makers. According to Antigua News Room, the conference is hosted by the Caribbean Society of Human Resource Professionals (CSHRP) and will be held at the St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort from May 28–30 under the theme Harvest of Inspiration.
Marlene Bailey, Chief Human Resources Officer at WIOC, will lead the session titled "Turning Differences into Dynamism." A strategic HR executive and transformational people leader with over 18 years of experience across the Caribbean, Bailey has driven organizational performance in the energy, professional services, and hospitality sectors. Her expertise spans workforce planning, talent optimization, leadership development, and industrial relations.
Bailey's session is designed to move beyond generational stereotypes and instead focus on what genuinely drives high-performing, resilient teams. In an era of constant organizational disruption, she will argue that the ability to transform differences into strengths represents a critical strategic advantage rather than an optional consideration.
Conference attendees will explore practical strategies for building workforce resilience, strengthening collaboration, improving communication, and leveraging the distinct strengths each generation brings. From Baby Boomers to Gen Alpha, the session will show leaders how to harness generational diversity to improve adaptability, engagement, and overall performance.
The session is framed as practical, experience-based guidance intended for immediate application in Caribbean workplaces, particularly for organizations navigating change, retention challenges, or multigenerational team dynamics.
CSHRP is a regional body committed to advancing the HR profession through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Through initiatives such as the annual LOUD Conference, the organization works to strengthen professional standards and leadership capacity across the Caribbean.
