Sheridan Ming, the newly appointed Operations Manager for the Port of Bermuda, has praised a week-long training residency at the Antigua Port Authority, describing the experience as a significant milestone in regional maritime collaboration. According to Antigua Observer, the residency concluded last week following an intensive exchange programme facilitated through the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC).
The programme allowed the Bermudian official to study operations and best practices at the Antigua Port Authority, deepening ties between the two island nations through structured knowledge-sharing at the executive level.
The exchange underscores the growing role of PMAC as a vehicle for professional development and cooperation across Caribbean port authorities, enabling senior officials to gain hands-on exposure to port management practices throughout the region.
