ST. MAARTEN — Miss Antigua and Barbuda turned in a spirited performance at the Miss St. Maarten Carnival Caribbean Queen Pageant 2026, competing against delegates from across the region in a celebration of culture, talent, and poise.

According to Antigua News Room, the title of Caribbean Queen was awarded to St. Lucia's Emerle Tisson, who claimed the crown following Wednesday night's competition at Carnival Village in St. Maarten.

Miss St. Eustatius, Kentonea Fortin, was named first runner-up, while Miss St. Maarten's Keisy Quant secured the second runner-up position.

The pageant was held under the theme "Queens of Sun & Sail" and brought together contestants from several Caribbean territories as part of the annual St. Maarten Carnival festivities. The event served as a platform for regional pride and cultural expression.

Although Miss Antigua and Barbuda did not place among the top finalists, she was noted for her confidence and strong stage presence in what proved to be a highly competitive field.
