A coalition of gas station operators across Antigua has appealed directly to Prime Minister for urgent intervention to increase their fuel margins, according to Antigua Observer.

In a letter dated March 23rd, 2026, representatives of 21 gas stations hand-delivered their formal request to the Office of the Prime Minister. The dealers outlined the financial hardship they are experiencing under current margin arrangements at the pumps.

The letter, signed by representatives spanning more than two dozen fuel retail outlets across the island, signals growing frustration within the sector over what operators describe as unsustainable operating conditions.

As reported by Antigua Observer, the dealers have expressed that they are suffering under the existing structure and are calling on the Prime Minister to take urgent action to address the situation.
