The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has launched a Utility Amnesty Programme offering residential customers whose services have been disconnected for 180 days or more the chance to restore access to essential utilities.

The programme follows a Cabinet decision made in April 2026 by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Eligible customers are those whose electricity, water, or telephone services were disconnected on or before September 30, 2025.

Applications are being processed at the APUA Business Centre on Independence Avenue and at the Village Walk location. Customers must present a valid government-issued identification and their account number. Tenants are also required to provide a letter of permission from their landlord.

The deadline to apply is May 29, 2026. APUA is encouraging eligible customers to take advantage of the programme to regularise their accounts and restore service.

For further information, customers may contact the APUA Customer Service team at (268) 480-7150 or by email at [email protected].
