Team Antigua and Barbuda closed out a strong performance at the Carifta Swimming Championships, finishing with a total of 15 medals after adding three more on the final day of competition Tuesday.
According to Antigua Observer, the team secured one gold and two silver medals on the closing day of the tournament, held at the Pierre Samot Community Aquatic Centre in Martinique.
Former Junior Sports Woman of the Year Ellie Shaw was among the standout performers for the national squad, contributing to what proved to be a commendable overall showing for Antigua and Barbuda at the regional championships.
