Antigua and Barbuda enjoyed another successful day at the Carifta Aquatics Championships on Monday, collecting six medals on day three of the competition at the Pierre Samot Community Aquatic Centre in Martinique.

According to Antigua Observer, swimmer Anya DeGannes led the charge, claiming her second gold medal of the championships and her third medal overall. Competing in the Girls 13-14 age category, DeGannes delivered a dominant performance to add to her growing haul at the regional meet.

DeGannes was not alone in her success. As reported by Antigua Observer, fellow competitors Shaw and McMillan also struck gold for Antigua and Barbuda, contributing to what has been a strong team showing through the first three days of the championship.

The six medals collected on Monday reflect the depth of talent within the Antiguan and Barbudan swimming programme at the junior level. The Carifta Aquatics Championships brings together young swimmers from across the Caribbean, making the national team's performance a notable achievement on the regional stage.
