The Ministry of Sports is calling on the public to turn out at V.C. Bird International Airport this morning to welcome home Antigua and Barbuda's CARIFTA team following their strong showing at the regional championships in Grenada.

The athletes are expected to arrive at 11:30 a.m. Supporters are encouraged to come out in large numbers, bringing flags and banners to greet the returning competitors.

"Come to the airport with your flags, your banners, and let's line the arrival area and show our athletes just how proud we are of them," the Ministry said in a social media post.

The call to action follows a celebrated performance by Antigua and Barbuda's contingent at the CARIFTA Games, where athletes delivered standout results across multiple events.

Officials are urging citizens to give the team a warm and visible reception in recognition of their achievements on the regional stage.
