Antigua and Barbuda's Naeem Simon delivered a determined performance at the CARIFTA Games, finishing 11th overall in the Under-17 boys' high jump competition.
According to Antigua News Room, Simon competed during the afternoon session, representing the nation among the region's top young athletes and gaining valuable experience on the regional stage.
The Antigua and Barbuda Athletic Association commended Simon for his courage and commitment to competing at a high level. In a statement, the association noted that "every jump, every attempt, every experience is part of the journey — and this is only the beginning."
Looking ahead, the association offered words of encouragement to the young high jumper. "Keep pushing, keep rising. The future is bright," the association added.
