Antigua and Barbuda's Under-20 boys 4×100 metres relay team narrowly missed qualification for the final at the CARIFTA Games, finishing ninth overall in the preliminary round with a time of 41.85 seconds — one position outside the eight spots available for the final.

According to Antigua.news, the quartet of Judah Ashe, Conroy Wilson, Nathaniel Jones and Delbert Joseph ran in Heat 1, placing fourth in their section behind The Bahamas, Guyana and Martinique. Their time of 41.85 seconds proved insufficient to qualify as one of the four fastest non-section winners across both heats.

Trinidad and Tobago dominated the preliminary round, posting the fastest overall time of 39.78 seconds to win Heat 2. The combination of Zaccheus Charles, Trevaughn Stewart, Makaelan Woods and Kaeden Herbert secured top spot on the night.

The Bahamas qualified second overall after winning Heat 1 in 40.37 seconds through Louben Phillip, Everette Fraser, Terrin Beckles and Eagan Neely. Grenada advanced in third place with a time of 40.49, while Guyana claimed fourth in 40.91.

The remaining four final spots were claimed by Barbados in 40.50 seconds, Jamaica in 40.71, Martinique in 41.47 and the British Virgin Islands in 41.51 — leaving Antigua and Barbuda on the outside looking in despite the team's competitive showing.
