The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) is still waiting on materials needed to repair one of its artificial playing surfaces at the body's Technical Centre on Sir Sydney Walling Highway, according to Antigua Observer.
As reported by Antigua Observer, ABFA Technical Director and former national player Sowerby Gomes confirmed that the required materials have yet to arrive, leaving the damaged turf unrepaired as the Antigua Premier League (APL) heads into its final three rounds of competition.
Gomes, who oversees technical operations at the facility, indicated that he is still awaiting the necessary supplies to complete the repairs to the artificial surface.
