Construction at Antigua Cruise Port's upland development is progressing, with crews now focused on installing roofing for a new cluster of kiosks and commercial buildings, according to Antigua News Room.

Global Ports Holdings, the company behind the project, reported that Phase 2 is advancing steadily. The structures under construction are intended to house retail outlets and business spaces, with the development set to introduce expanded shopping options, locally driven experiences, and new opportunities for small businesses operating within the port area.

The upland expansion forms part of a broader strategy to enhance the visitor experience and increase the port's capacity to support cruise tourism. Global Ports Holdings said the investment is designed to strengthen the destination's appeal while contributing to long-term economic activity in the surrounding community.

Images shared alongside the company's update show multiple buildings at various stages of completion, including concrete foundations, framed structures, and partially finished commercial units spread across the construction site.
