Windstar Cruises' newly launched all-suite luxury yacht, Star Seeker, is set to make its inaugural call to Antigua and Barbuda this Sunday as part of its first Caribbean sailing season, according to Antigua News Room.
The 224-guest vessel is expected to arrive at port at 10 a.m. A traditional plaque exchange ceremony will mark the milestone visit. Media representatives have been invited to attend, with boarding scheduled for 9:30 a.m., subject to security clearance.
Star Seeker represents a significant addition to Windstar's fleet. The ship was officially delivered in December 2025 as the company's first purpose-built vessel in its Star Class series. It entered service shortly thereafter, launching its inaugural Caribbean season following a transatlantic maiden voyage and christening in early 2026.
Designed for small-ship, high-end cruising, the yacht accommodates 224 passengers across 112 all-suite cabins, the majority of which feature private verandas or floor-to-ceiling windows. The vessel carries approximately 130 crew members and is equipped with multiple dining venues, a spa, open deck spaces, and a watersports marina platform.
As reported by Antigua News Room, industry sources describe Star Seeker as part of a broader expansion strategy by Windstar Cruises, aimed at offering more intimate itineraries to destinations that larger cruise ships cannot easily access.
Antigua's port of call forms part of the yacht's inaugural Caribbean itinerary, which emphasises smaller ports and culturally immersive experiences across the region.
Sunday's arrival is expected to draw interest from tourism and maritime stakeholders, as Antigua and Barbuda continues to strengthen its profile as a premier destination for boutique and luxury cruise traffic.
