ST. JOHN'S, Antigua — Accommodation providers across Antigua and Barbuda have until March 31 to register their properties for the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), as the nation prepares to host one of the Commonwealth's most significant diplomatic gatherings.

The Ministry of Tourism announced that Antigua and Barbuda expects to welcome approximately 5,000 international delegates for the summit, scheduled for November 1–4, 2026. Officials described the event as a major commercial opportunity for local property owners, with registered accommodations to be included in the official CHOGM 2026 accommodation listing — positioning them for potential delegate bookings and heightened international visibility.

The initiative also aims to showcase the breadth and quality of Antiguan hospitality to a global audience. The ministry noted that participation is expected to drive higher occupancy levels during the summit period, while helping to standardize accommodation offerings available to visiting delegations.

Providers seeking to register must submit their applications through the official CHOGM 2026 Accommodation Secretariat before the March 31 deadline.
