The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority recently welcomed Juliet Bodley — widely known as Julie Mango — to the twin-island nation. A speaker, actress, content creator, and mental health advocate, Bodley's visit encompassed both professional engagements and immersive cultural experiences, according to Antigua News Room.

Bodyley served as guest speaker at the Women's Day VIP Conference, where she delivered a presentation centred on wellness, empowerment, and mental health awareness.

Beyond the conference, Bodley took the opportunity to explore Antigua and Barbuda's vibrant local culture. She visited a local market, where she sampled fresh produce and locally made goods that reflect the richness of Antiguan and Barbudan heritage.

Among the highlights of her stay was a chocolate-making class at the Antigua Chocolate Factory, where Bodley learned firsthand about the craft of producing artisanal chocolate and the value of supporting locally sourced goods and producers.

She also visited Local, a space dedicated to showcasing products created by Antiguan and Barbudan entrepreneurs and artisans, gaining insight into the creativity and craftsmanship driving the island's homegrown economy.

As reported by Antigua News Room, the visit offered a preview of the experiences available to travellers during Antigua and Barbuda Culinary Month, held each May. The month-long celebration connects visitors with the destination through food, featuring chef-led dining experiences, restaurant specials, Restaurant Week dine-around events, 'Eat Like A Local' tours, and the Food Art and Beverage Festival on May 23.
