Middle distance runner Jaeda Pigott has earned her place at this year's Carifta Games after clocking the qualifying standard in the Girls 800 metres at the Antigua and Barbuda Athletic Association's (ABAA) Carifta Trials, held at the YASCO Sports Complex over the weekend.

According to Antigua Observer, Pigott, competing in the Girls Under-17 category, registered a qualifying time during the trials, adding her name to the growing list of local athletes who have secured their berths at the regional competition.
