According to Antigua News Room, the Prime Minister outlined the initiative during an appearance on the Browne and Browne radio programme, describing it as part of a broader effort to expand local participation in the tourism sector.
The dual-track project would see the government drive hotel development at the Yepton's site while simultaneously creating opportunities for Antiguan citizens to invest in short-term rental properties on adjacent beachfront land. The initiative appears aimed at ensuring that residents can benefit directly from the country's growing tourism economy.
