The Cedar Grove Gunners remained perfect on the season after edging the Old Road Daggers 80–78 in a gripping overtime contest Saturday night at the JSC Sports Complex, as action in the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Division Two competition resumed.
According to Antigua Observer, it was the Daggers who set the early tempo, taking firm control of the game in the opening stages and putting the Gunners on the back foot.
However, Cedar Grove showed the resilience that has defined their unbeaten run, battling back to force overtime before ultimately securing the narrow two-point victory and preserving their unblemished record in the division.
