Athletes, coaches, government officials and students gathered at the Yasco Sports Complex on Friday morning to celebrate the official opening of a long-awaited restroom and changing facility. According to Antigua Observer, the event marked a significant upgrade to Antigua and Barbuda's premier athletics venue.

The new facility was constructed at a cost of approximately EC$590,000, representing a substantial investment in the island's sporting infrastructure. The completion of the project brings to an end a lengthy wait for athletes and visitors who have long called for improved amenities at the complex.
