The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank has formally designated four entities as Credit Information Providers in Antigua and Barbuda, effective January 1, 2026, under Section 27(3) of the Credit Reporting Act, No. 26 of 2017. The designated providers are Cable and Wireless (Antigua and Barbuda) Limited, Antigua Wireless Venture Limited, Antigua and Barbuda Public Utilities Authority, and Antigua and Barbuda Development Bank. This designation means these organizations are now authorized to supply credit-related information within the national credit reporting framework.

The Antigua and Barbuda Financial Services Regulatory Commission has issued formal notice of its intention to strike 31 International Business Corporations (IBCs) from the Register of International Business Corporations under Section 335(2)(b) of the International Business Corporations Act, Cap. 222. These companies have failed to submit outstanding requirements under the IBC (Fees and Minimum Capitalization Requirements) Regulations, 1998, and must comply by 4:00 p.m. on April 2, 2026, or face deregistration.
