The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission has issued formal election notices for all 17 constituencies under the Representation of the People Act (CAP-379). Nomination papers must be submitted to the respective returning officer at designated schools and institutions between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on April 13, 2026. If any constituency election is contested, polling will take place on April 30, 2026. Constituencies include St. John's City West, East and South; St. John's Rural West, South, East and North; St. Mary's North and South; All Saints East & St. Luke; All Saints West; St. George; St. Peter; St. Philip North and South; St. Paul; and Barbuda.

Appointment of Returning Officers for General Election 2026

The Electoral Commission has appointed 17 returning officers—one for each constituency—under Section 10(1) of the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act 2001. The officers include civil servants, teachers, accountants, and other professionals from across the island. They are responsible for receiving nomination papers and administering the election process in their respective constituencies.

Antigua and Barbuda Medical Council – List of Licensed Medical Practitioners (March 2026)

Fifteen companies have been struck off the Companies Register pursuant to Sections 511 and 356 of the Companies Act of 1995. The companies, originally registered in 2017 and 2020, include businesses in hospitality, technology, media, construction, and car rentals. The notice was dated October 13, 2025, and signed by Ms. Ricki Camacho, Registrar of Companies.

Indira James of Cassada Gardens, St. John's, Antigua has declared under oath that her life insurance policy (No. J781003745), originally issued by Sagicor Life Inc. and assumed by Sagicor Life (Eastern Caribbean) Inc., has been lost. She has applied for a duplicate policy. Unless an objection is raised within one month of the notice date (March 2, 2026), a duplicate will be issued.
