Writs of Election 2026 – General Election for All Constituencies

Governor-General Sir Rodney Williams has issued Writs of Election to the Returning Officers of all 17 constituencies in Antigua and Barbuda, following the dissolution of Parliament on 1st April 2026. The writs direct that a general election be held on 30th April 2026, with candidate nominations taking place on 13th April 2026 at designated venues across the constituencies. Returning Officers are required to certify the name of the elected member for each constituency by 1st May 2026.
