Writ of By-Election – Constituency of St. Philip's North
Governor-General Sir Rodney Williams has issued a Writ of By-Election for the constituency of St. Philip's North, following the resignation of the Honourable Sir Robin Yearwood on February 18th, 2026, which vacated his seat in the House of Representatives. The nomination of candidates is set for February 25th, 2026 at Willikies Primary School, and the by-election poll is scheduled for March 16th, 2026. The Writ is to be returned on March 17th, 2026. This process is being conducted in accordance with Section 41(3) of the Constitution of Antigua and Barbuda, which requires a by-election to be held within 120 days of a seat becoming vacant.
