Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers has been awarded the King's Police Medal (KPM), one of the highest honours bestowed upon police officers across the Commonwealth.

According to Antigua News Room, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda announced the award on Wednesday, describing it as recognition of Jeffers' distinguished service, exemplary leadership, and sustained commitment to policing and national security.

"The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda proudly congratulates Commissioner of Police Mr. Everton Jeffers, KPM, on being awarded the King's Police Medal," the force said in an official statement.

The force noted that the prestigious honour acknowledges Jeffers' contributions to law enforcement and his dedication to serving the people of Antigua and Barbuda. It also extended congratulations to the commissioner and expressed gratitude for his continued service.
