The Office of the Chief Health Inspector is calling on the public to assist in locating relatives of two deceased men whose bodies remain unclaimed at Barnes Funeral Home, according to Antigua News Room.
The men have been identified as Karl Lashley, who died on June 3, 2026, and Isaac Watson, who died on June 24, 2026.
Family members are urged to contact Jessica Barnes, Managing Director of Barnes Funeral Home Limited, located on Irwing Barnes Close, American Road, to make arrangements for a private burial. Barnes can be reached by telephone at 462-1037.
The Office of the Chief Health Inspector has set a 14-day window from the publication of the notice for relatives to come forward. Should no arrangements be made within that period, the government will proceed with the interment of both individuals at a public cemetery without further notice.
Authorities also cautioned that legal recourse after burial will not be available, and appealed to any affected family members to cooperate promptly.
