Antigua and Barbuda has claimed another regional pageant crown after Milove Fontaine was crowned Miss Elegantly Plus Caribbean Queen 2026 in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

According to Antigua News Room, Fontaine secured the title on Sunday at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, winning four judged categories: Top Model, Best Evening Wear, Best On-Stage Interview and Best Ambassadorial Presentation. She also captured the People's Choice Award, determined by public vote.

Speaking after her victory, Fontaine described the moment as overwhelming. She said she was filled with emotion when her name was announced and expressed gratitude for the support she received throughout the competition. She also thanked the people of Antigua and Barbuda specifically for their votes, which helped her secure the People's Choice title.

The pageant featured contestants from three territories — Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands. Fontaine competed against Krystle Maduro of the British Virgin Islands and Jah'Millia Maloney of the US Virgin Islands.

The win marks a significant milestone in Fontaine's pageant career. She previously held the Miss Charisma 2020 title and now returns home with one of the Caribbean's leading plus-size pageant crowns, having been recognised for her confidence, poise and ambassadorial qualities.
