A man in his late 20s has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to raping a 12-year-old girl he blackmailed using an explicit video. According to Antigua News Room, the High Court handed down the sentence following the defendant's admission of guilt on multiple charges.
Sole Spencer was convicted on two counts of serious indecency and one count of sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 14.
The court heard that in 2024, Spencer came into possession of an explicit video of the child and used it to coerce her into performing sexual acts. Prosecutors said he threatened to circulate the video if she refused to comply — doing so even after being informed that she was only 12 years old.
Fearing the video would be shared, the girl agreed to meet Spencer. He then led her to an abandoned house, where the sexual offences were committed.
