Prime Minister Gaston Browne has praised the work of international humanitarian organisation Caring For Others, Inc. following a meeting with its founder during the CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting. According to Antigua News Room, Browne met with Dr. Eslene Richmond-Shockley on the sidelines of the regional summit in what was described as a courtesy engagement.

The meeting centred on the organisation's ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities through programmes delivering food, clothing, education and housing assistance.

Browne commended Dr. Richmond-Shockley, who serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Atlanta-based charity, for her commitment to humanitarian service. He also congratulated the organisation on its achievements and expressed hope that it would continue expanding its reach to people in need.

The encounter was one of several bilateral and courtesy meetings undertaken by the Prime Minister during the regional summit. Caribbean leaders attending the gathering are currently engaged in discussions on issues including regional cooperation, food and energy security, and global geopolitical developments.
