A Jamaican national wanted by authorities in St. Kitts and Nevis has been arrested following his repatriation from Antigua, according to Antigua.news.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force confirmed that Rohan Mullings, 44, was taken into custody on Sunday, July 5, shortly after arriving at RLB International Airport. Mullings, a resident of Pond's Pasture, St. Kitts, had been the subject of a wanted bulletin issued in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation.
Although police did not disclose the specific offence under investigation, they confirmed that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Authorities had previously indicated that Mullings was believed to be in Antigua, prompting local law enforcement to seek the public's help in locating him. Members of the public were urged not to approach him but to report any relevant information to police.
The cross-border cooperation between Antiguan and Kittitian authorities ultimately led to Mullings' repatriation and his subsequent arrest upon arrival.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force expressed appreciation to all parties involved in bringing the matter to a close. "We extend our gratitude to members of the public, as well as the relevant authorities in Antigua, for their cooperation and assistance in this matter," the force said in a statement.
