The Magistrates' Court on High Street, St John's will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, July 8, and Friday, July 10, 2026, to facilitate operations related to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) exercise, according to Antigua News Room.

Persons with matters scheduled on either of those dates are advised to report to their respective courtrooms on Monday, July 13, 2026.

For filing, service, and disposition of matters not currently listed on the E-Litigation Portal, the court has directed the public to use the email address [email protected] during the closure period.

The notice does not apply to the Magistrates' Court of the Family Division, which operates from a separate location at the High Court on Parliament Drive, St John's.

The notice, dated July 7, 2026, was issued and signed by Nyron Frederick, Court Administrator of the Magistrates' Court, who expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
